MINI MEANS MINI, MINI HOTEL

When I first arrived here in Hong Kong, I didn't have anything ready. I flew here only with my flight ticket and the 5 days of Hotel booked in Central, HongKong.

And when choosing the hotel, my main concern was location! location! location!! Because I knew that I would be out all the time, out looking for a place to live in daytime and out having a drink with friends at night. Yes, it didn't matter to me how little the place maybe, as long as it was within the walking distance of Lan Kwai Fong.

So I found this little place on Booking.com which was locating right next to the Lan Kwai Fong so I thought this is it!!

HEADING OUT FOR SHOPPING!!

WHO DOESN'T LOVE SHOPPING??
BUT, I HAVE TO ADMIT THAT IT SOMETIMES IS REALLY A BURDEN WHEN YOU ARE IN UNCOMFORTABLE OUTFIT. SO WHENEVER I GO SHOPPING, I PUT ON SOMETHING COMFY BUT AT THE SAME TIME, GIVES YOU CONFIDENCE.
(YOU DON'T WANT TO LOOK BAD WHEN ALL THE SALES STAFFS WILL BE JUDGING YOU!)

HERE IS WHAT I WORE WHEN I WENT OUT FOR SHOPPING.

As a fashion buyer and a fashion blogger, there is always one thing that makes me so focused whenever I go out on shopping. Yes, the new brands.

BIRTHDAY NIGHT IN BORACAY!!

Yes, yes I know. It's so amazing to have my birthday night in Boracay.
I doubted it at first, since I will have to be on the plane from early in the morning.
But OMG!! This night turned out to be the best birthday night I've ever had!!
(So good that I even forgot I was getting a year older in Korean age)

As a starter, we went to the roof top bar of the Hotel boracay. See, up there?

We got there and this is the view from up.

FIRST DAY IN BORACAY

After arriving at the Hotel District, we unpacked a little and went straight to the beach right in front of the hotel.

Starting with a Iced Cafe Latte for me, and a cocktail for my friend.

BORACAY AND the best HOTEL DISTRICT

It's totally on me that I am posting my trip to Boracay this late, but cut me some slack, I was busy trying to figure out how to move to Hong Kong.

So here it is.

I gotta say, it is not easy to go to Boracay from Seoul. You take plane, bus for 2 hours and ferry for 15 min. Compared to other relaxing beaches I've been to, Boracay was not a easy place to go. But once you get there, YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!

Here's our journey to Boracay!! WE ♡ BORACAY!!

FIRST THINGS FIRST!!

First thing I have to do landing in Hong Kong is to get a date sim card.

I have a sim card from Korea and if i use the data Roaming service from there, I have to pay at least HKD 75 per day to use unlimitedly for one day.

However if you use a data sim card from Hong Kong, you can save a lot and it works much better!! Isn't that great?

There are many carriers which provides Pre-paid services in Hong Kong. I searched before I leave Korea and found out that "one2free" provides best options with various service plan. You can simply choose which service plane you are going to choose considering how long you will be staying in Hong Kong.

And the most easy part is that you can buy the sim card as soon as you arrive in Hong Kong international airport.

ADIOS SEOUL AND HOLA HONG KONG!!

Am I really stupid as some people say?

I am finally leaving Seoul for Hong Kong next Monday. I have no specific job, house or things to do and I am just leaving with a flight ticket and 5 days of hotel. And how am I now? I am so x 10,000 excited and a little bit nervous at the same time. But somehow, I feel more alive and energised.

I'M BACK!!!!

I have to admit that I wasn't exactly on my best behavior when it comes to blogging. But I have the perfect excuse! I quit my job for the life I've always dreamt of.

Some of you may know, but I am a fashion buyer.

I love what I do, and haven't thought of anything else other than the job I have now since forever. The reason why I quit my current job is to achieve bigger goal of lifetime and not because I wasn't satisfied of what I was doing.

My colleagues asked me, don't I have to get a job before, you know, leaving the perfectly fine job. But it's been more than 6 years without any long real vacation (by long vacation, I mean I never had vacation longer than a week. Yup, that's the life in Korea) so I thought I needed this personal break to gain new energy to achieve my next goal.

Well, after two whole week without doing anything special, here I am in front of my Mac air. I really thought I could be more devoting to the blog since I will have absolutely nothing special to do. But you know what? there are so many things you can do when you don't have to go to work.

Firstly, I started taking swimming lesson. And been on trips around Korea.

There are so many beautiful places you can go in Korea if you have time. Of course it means you have to spend lots of times in the car taking selfies ;)

Oh! and I've been reading a lot, I mean really really a lot since my last day at work.

It's funny that when you are a working girl, you don't really prefer reading even though you have time. Instead, it's just web browsing, instagram and facebook, something you can do fast. But when you have a whole day to do anything you feel like doing, reading becomes so much fun. I'm on my 11th book so far and it's my favorite time of the day.

Anyhow, what I was trying to say is that I am back and will have more time to spare on my blog. I will be posting about the trips I had ASAP.

Love, Victoria
