NIGHT MARKET

I never was a fan of night markets.
Except the one year in Hong Kong when I used to go out every night for a quick snack
just outside my University (of course, this led me to extra 8kg)
I guess I just didn't find it that charming in Korea.

However, visiting Guangjang Market totally changed my view on night markets.
There's so much energy and everything is just so delicious!

No.1 Bindaetteok place in Guangjang Market, Sunheenae.
(Bindaetteok, i.e.mung-bean pancake, Korean pancake, Korean pizza)

After Bindaetteok, my friends wanted to try Yukhoe, Korean-style raw beef.
I don' eat raw meat so I didn't try but my friends told me that this was very fresh yet affordable.
(Usually, Yukhoe is very expensive)

After filling my stomach with delicious yet very traditional foods, I wandered around to share with you the vibe.

I definitely recommend this place for foreigners to visit!
It's a perfect combination of Korean tradition and flavors and is totally different from
the palaces or other historic sites.
However, please keep in mind that people don't really speak English here
so you better bring your Korean friend or someone who speaks Korean.

HONG KONGER

Finally, back to my outfit post :)

When I was preparing for my Hong Kong trip, my Luggage was full of clothes and the number of clothes exceed the days I was planning to stay in Hong Kong.

But you never know what will happen, right?
You always have to be prepared in case something suddenly comes up.

Well, but this time I will have to admit that my decision was totally wrong.
I should have gone with more spaces in my luggage than the clothes.
Cause when I was packing for flight back to Korea, my luggage literally won't be close and I needed extra bag to put my new clothes in.

You should really bring more empty space than you think cause there are so many unique and pretty things to buy in Hong Kong (Not only the clothes)

Anyways, here are some photos of my outfit in Hong Kong.
(I am so happy that the quality of my photos are getting better)

This is before going out on Friday Night,

*Top Shop Dress

Outfit for a dinner with a dear friend.

*Maje Coat, Top Shop Tshirt, Just Cavalli Skirt, Theyskens' Theory Boots, Proenza Schouler Bag

The next day, going out to have lunch with a friend.
Since this was Sunday when my flight was scheduled, notice I only changed my skirt, top and shoes to somewhat comfy?

*Maje Coat, Top Shop Tshirt, Alexander Wang Skirt, Isabel Marant Sneakers, Proenza Schouler Bag

Lastly, a picture with my old friend, Candy :)

Tilll next post!

DISCOVERING HONG KONG

I just have arrived in Hong Kong international airport and I am so glad that I brought my Macbook with me.
I finally can start with the new post about Hong Kong trip.
(Before now, I'd have to admit that I was regretting bringing my MacAir 'cause unlike its name,
not so airly when you are traveling)

Ok, so back to my Hong Kong trip,

One thing I am so certain about Hong Kong is that it's the best City ever!

On top of the fun nights and its heavenly shopping spots, you are not going to believe how nice people are there. Their English is really good (I heard that they start learning English from when they turn 3 years old) and even if they can't speak English, they are willing to help you in any other way.

I will have to admit that if it wasn't for their great personalities, I won't be so satisfied with my trip this much.

One of the many reasons I like about Hong Kong is that, even though it's highly developed city, it still has so many trees and you can feel that the nature is just around you. Every where you look, there's either a mountain or a ocean. And the way buildings are just so harmonized with the nature in a weird way.

These photos are from a little bit outside the Central, on my way to South Horizon.

From here, pictures were taken in Central. See how fancy they are? ;)

And a view from the harbor. I heart HK, too!

Mall 1881 in Central
Feeling very Christmasy~ :)

And my favorite mall in HK, IFC.
(And my love, Lane Crawford. I had a quick breakfast with Lane Crawford looking down at me)

Even the mall is surrounded by nature, right by the ocean.

How can I not be in love with this amazing city?

My outfit post coming up next :)

CASUAL MONDAY

Hi, everyone :)

I can't believe I am posting my Monday outfit on Wednesday, but considering that this outfit also would be perfect on Wednesday I'm posting it anyway.

My Monday was literally like hell.
I arrived in Seoul 5:00AM from Hong Kong and went home, leave my luggage and went straight to work.
Only sleep I had was 3 hours on the plane and I was exhausted.

I didn't have any strength to change into something fancy for my Monday as I usually do
(I dress somewhat formal on Monday since it's the beginning of the week)
so I went casual for Monday.

I just putted on a knit, my favorite pair of jean, classic converse and a red muffler as a point.

*Outfit Info : Topshop Knit, Dsquared2 Jean, Converse Sneakers, Zara Muffler

Grande sized Cafe Latte is a must after such a tight schedule ;)

For more casual look, I chose to do an up-do hair.

What is your usual Monday outfit like?
