MY FIRST OUTFIT POST

I'm not sure if anybody noticed, but my blog is originally meant to be a fashion blog.
I am trying to post my outfits, but taking pictures of them is quite hard. My iPhone5 cannot capture the vivid colors of my outfits (This is a big issue especially when I love, love, love vivid colored outfits.)

Also taking selfies has come to its limits.
I really need to take proper outfit photos with my Cannon.
(Even though it's not DSLR, I love my camera cause it's so small and chic)

Even with these limits, here is my first outfit post.

Now that I think about it, I can't believe I was taking all these photos in lady's room, but I was just so glad I found the perfect mirror for my outfit post.

And the lady's room in Between (name of the restaurant) was so pretty.

I love to put on something black on Fridays since it makes me look more slim and chic. Especially if you hop on the 15cm Chrisitan Louboutin, almost everything looks perfect.
I was wearing my favorite Balenciaga Jacket and Alexander McQueen clutch but I left it on my sit. I regret not taking photos with those on, but who goes to lady's room with his/her Jacket and Clutches? But no worries, since those two are my favorite daily items, I wear them pretty much every day. I will post another outfit post with those on.

[Outfit information]
 Top : Stefannel
 Skirt : Top Shop
 Shoes : Christian Louboutin

BTW, we tried special drink that that night!
(I love trying new shots/drinks, but since I don't drink anymore my bestie always gets to taste. Look how excited she is..)
Name of the drink? "Adios, mother f*cker". That's right! Gosh, I love how clever people are.

MY HALLOWEEN NIGHT IN SEOUL

Ok. I will have to admit that I was little too excited for my first costume-appropriate Halloween in Seoul.

How did it start?
Well, it was quite funny, actually. I was with the girls from HongKong and we started talking about the glorious days in Hong Kong. And as all women do, we started digging up the old photos, falling in to the pond of memories.

Here is a photo that made us fall into our dear memories.

(OMG!! we were so young back then!!! It's a shame that we only have small pix photo)

And, that got us thinking, why don't we revive our Halloween memory of Hong Kong and dress just as we did back then? Even though we were about 6 years younger, we could still pull it off!!!

And here's us in our costumes.

(I have to admit this red picture is really scary)
I went as black Bunny Girl, considering that 6 years of consuming life in Seoul have got to changed me from white/pink bunny to black, tired-to-death one. (Also, I will have to admit that my preference in clothing has changed a little) My two friends were ghost and witch, and they also were very upgraded. Especially as for my ghost friend, who was even thought as white dumpling back in 2007, it was great stepping up.

When we first arrived in Itaewon, one of my favorite region in Seoul, Korea, we weren't so sure about our costumes. Cause we were kind of afraid that we were the only ones with costumes, trying too hard which got us, say... conservative, in a way.

But when we arrived in Itaewon, we were one of the normal ones. (well, not really, but this is an expression that there were so many crazy people) So we went with heavier make-up. I became bunny girl with heave dark circles around my eyes, as dead bunny(i.e tired-to-death bunny) and my bleeding dumpling ghost friend was staring to bleed in her eyes along with her mouth. It's quite funny that people like to become extreme.

And this is how we changed..

Here's before & after. (Black bunny girl to near death bunny)

And, about how atmospheres were in Itaewon..

OMG. Only word that could describe the way I felt is confusion. I had noooo idea that Koreans were that open minded and funny! Itaewon was literally filled with crowds and people were going crazy altogether even with the freezing weather. (oh, in case you were wondering, Koreans spend their Halloween on the last Saturday of October)
Every single bars in Itaewon was packed and just no words for how packed clubs were. I have to admit that I am a little relieved and excited at the same time at the fact that Koreans are now enjoying Halloween!!

It was a crazy night, and I am very happy we tried this in Korea. I am already filled with ideas for my next Halloween, hopefully in Hong Kong.

Lastly, I just want to say how lucky I am to have such good friends who can share life-long memories together.

FRIDAY NIGHT IN SEOUL

Can't believe it already has been 3 month since I started the blog.
I learned that it is harder than I think to post regularly. Well, to be able to have more frequent updates, I have bought myself a macbook air (I know it's only a rationalization for myself to feel better but oh well..)

As my second post, I thought it will be appropriate to start with the closest date I had fun which was last Friday. I love Fridays, btw. Who doesn't? you would say, but I want to believe that it is little more special to the girls out there who works from Monday to Friday. On weekends, I usually take some rest, do the chores that I was too lazy to do on work days, go see a movie, get my nails done and etc. But on Fridays, I need to have some fun!!!!

After work on Friday, first thing I did was go to BEAKER (which is a very young and casual multi shop located in Seoul) and get little something for me. I have a crazy festival coming up next Saturday, and girl's gotta always meet the dress code, right? what's in it will be revealed next Saturday night!!!!!

When a long friday night is waiting for you after shopping, you always need a Grande sized ice soy Latte!

And you also get really really hungry after shopping, so you need a least 3 dishes per 2 people to get fully energized. This is restaurant called Marry go Round (92, Nonhyun-dong, Seoul) steakhouse. Since I don't prefer steak, me and my friend had Nasi Goreng, Vongole, and green salad. Santorini draft beer cannot be left out on summer night dinner ouside! right? Food here was better than I expected and it's not that pricy compared to other restaurant located in Nonhyun-dong.

Next stop is the very stylish german bar/diner, Platoon Kunsthalle (97-22, Nonhyun-dong, Seoul). It's built up with several container boxes and inside, there are many different type of sits you can choose. The atmosphere here is more like casual than fancy, so it seems perfect to have several drinks after work with your close friends. There are all kinds of german beers and cocktails to make you feel better.

Platton Kunsthalle is not just an ordinary bar/diner. It work with contemporary artists and have art exhibitions. Also, it is very famous for its various launching parties and flea market. But on Fridays, DJ starts to play some music from 9pm and it usually presents dreamy vibe with very carefully selected musics.

As you can see, there are bean bag chairs that literally makes you lie down. You can sit with these bean bag chairs vertically, but you will soon realize it is MUCH MORE COMPY to let it go and lie down.

Where me and my friend were sitting had very red lights. All your pictures become red!

After several cold german beers and lime mojitos, we moved to Etaewon, Gecko's Avenue(116-6, Etaewon-dong, Seoul). Not many people were there even thought it was already the peak time of the night. But it was very classy and stylish. Perfect place for fancy cocktails.

After Gecko's Avenue, Friday night for me and my friend started! Well, but I was to busy to take pictures. Maybe next time for clubs and fun disco places in Korea.

Looking at the pictures, I cannot help but to think of fresh made mojitos. Ahhhh!!
But I must get myself together, since its MONDAY tomorrow!!!!!!! Hope everyone have awesome Monday.

See you all next time!
Love, Victoria

MY FIRST BLOG POST

FINALLY!! A BLOG FOR ME!

I ALWAYS TALKED ABOUT HAVING A BLOG WHERE I CAN EXPRESS MYSELF AND SHARE IDEAS.
YOU CAN'T REALLY GAIN ANYTHING UNLESS YOU ACT ON IT, RIGHT?
(AND I ACTED ON IT, SO PROUD OF MYSELF!! YEAH~~~)

SO HERE'S HOW IT'S GOING TO BE.
TO SUM UP THE LIFE I HAVE LIVED AND WANT TO LIVE, IT CAN BE ONLY DESCRIBED AS ONE WORD, "FUN".

YOU ONLY GET TO LIVE ONCE AND I THINK IT'S SUCH A DUMB MOVE TO WASTE PRECIOUS TIME AND ENERGY ON SOMETHING YOU DON'T REALLY ENJOY.

WELL, ACTUALLY THAT IS HOW I ENDED UP WORKING IN FASHION INDUSTRY.
EVER SINCE BEING BORN AS MY MOM'S (WHO IS STILL SO FASHIONABLE REGARDLESS OF HER AGE, BTW) PRECIOUS CHILD, ALL I COULD THINK ABOUT WAS PRETTY DRESSES AND SHINY SHOES. AND LUCKLY ENOUGH, I AM NOW SURROUNDED WITH CRAZY PRETTY, POPS-YOU-EYE-OUT KINDA CLOTHES, SHOES, BAGS AND ETC.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE WHAT I DO AND AM PLANNING ON DOING THIS FOR MY WHOLE LIFE.
BUT JUST WORKING IN THE OFFICE ISN'T GOING TO MAKE MY LIFE MORE FUN, RIGHT?
I KNOW FOR SURE, ANYTHING THAT MAKES ME SMILE AND FEEL EXCITED IS THE RIGHT ANSWER TO MY LIFE.

HERE, ON THE BLOG, I WILL BE POSTING EVERYTHING FROM FASHION TO LOVE, JUST ANYTHING IF THERE'S ANY HINT OF FUN.

MY LIFE? IT'S ALL ABOUT FASHION, FUN AND LOVE.

SEE YOU ALL NEXT TIME!

LOVE,
VICTORIA
